Player spawns on collidable object

description

I noticed if the player spawns on a collidable object (the blob or mountain in the background for instance), he will be continually respawned in the same location and the score and health numbers will be constantly refreshing (just a continual collision loop). I thought about making it so collidables never occur in the player spawn location, but that would mean the player could play the entire game without moving up or down and never hit an object. So I guess we will have to think of an algorithm for determining spawn location based upon what space is currently occupied at the back end of the window by collidable objects. Was hoping you guys would have some input/thoughts on this.

Grace period has since been implemented, thus potentially solving this issue
